says to Everyone: faith walks up the stairs with a stack of soft, freshly laundered linens in her arms. the girl moves swiftly along the hallway and into one of the guest rooms. Setting the linen down on a chair, the girl begins stripping sheets and coverings from the bed, separating the washing from the furs and blankets that will go back onto the soft down stuffed mattress

says to Everyone: with a wiggle of her butt, the girl climbs onto the bed dragging the sheet across with her. rolling off of the bed, the girl twists putting her feet firmly on the floor before tossing the last sheet onto the pile. With the bed stripped, she begins to fluff the mattress. a girl's fingers lift and fluff the edge pulling up as much as she can to make sure the center of the mattress is equally fluffy. working her way around the bed, she finishes next to the chair with the clean linens

: taking the first sheet, a girl spreads it over the bed, moving to each corner to fold, tuck, and tuck again making sure each corner stays put before tucking in on the sides of the bed. faith has to climb back onto the bed to reach the center of the headboard. with rump up and her arms stretched, the girl manages to get the linen in place. she glides off the bed, smoothing the creases out as she goes. faith grabs the pillow cases and with a fluff, she jams a pillow under her chin and starts wiggling the case onto the downy soft pillow.

: the mound of pillows grows as the girl covers each with a clean, rosemary scented case. she then piles the pillows up at the head of the bed, careful to arrange them perfectly before drawing the blankets back up to cover the sheets, then a girl starts laying large piles of furs ontop of the bed

: when the last fur is placed on the bed, faith turns to the pile of linens and begins to bundle them up, tieing off the corners to make a tight package. the girl then checks the wash basin and finds it to be empty. she heads downstairs with the bundle of bedding. faith leaves the bedding at the cellar door with the rest of the day's laundry

: a girl takes a bucket for ash and a large bucket filled with water and makes her way back upstairs. light footfalls move quietly down the hallway. she enters the room and sets the ash bucket down on the hearth, then carries the water bucket to the wash basin and fills the pitcher. faith is careful to set the empty water bucket down where it won't make a ring on the floor and takes up the ash bucket. bending to kneel before the cold dogs, a girl begins to shovel out the old spent ash into the bucket beside her. once the fireplace is cleaned, she picks up the bucket and fetches the other before heading back downstairs
